Cold, clear as glass, and exquisite, that's what comes to my mind when I see your beautiful photos of Drammen river!

These are all beautiful, but I'm totally smitten with the first one; I cannot believe how smooth that river is. I could maybe imagine a lake that smooth, but not a river.

OK, stop. Hold it for a moment.

Let me... breath...

That was BEAUTIFUL!

And here I was thinking Norway didn't get any better, as it was already so very very good...

I love your pictures, John! You awaken the Scandinavian in me!

Warm greetings from West Africa,
Esther

Your beautiful world has given me new life. I've spent two weeks in hospital and just looking at what I had missed in your blog cheers me up. Your SkyWatch, blck and whites and snow scenes are all perfection, as is your lovely world with a new snow cover.

Excellent, John! The first photo doesn't look Norwegian. The buildings look more like Italian houses or those of Venise. The other photos look like the Norway I know. Your photos are stunning with perfect composition. Always a pleasure to come here.

The dynamic range in these is phenomenal! And the first reflection should be.. .a postcard or a jigsaw puzzle or... hanging in a gallery. Magnificent!
