So beautiful, John. I like a photographer that makes snow look appealing. Of course, the beautiful sky helped you. ;-)

A beautiful blue sky with snow on the ground, shure beats grey skies.

Simply stunning!
I love that the snow hasn't been walked in.

I have to say your last four or five posts are all stunning as well. I LOVE the post of the path in the snow above the city!

These are beautiful photographs. It looks very cold there too.

Somebody told me to try SkyWatch again. I hope I can hold out long enough to make it around to everyone's blog.

Vakre bilder dette, slike flotte dype blåfarger. Veldig flott natur er det og, må si jeg savner det litt av og til :)

I love both of these, but for different reasons. In the first, the light clouds add a lot of interest in an already dramatic blue sky. In the second, the touches of vivid red on the ground do the same thing.

So I guess the reasons aren't so different after all, eh? No matter, they're both beautiful!

Utrolig klare bilder, denne blåfargen er så nydelig!
Tror jeg kjenner meg igjen her, går ikke hovedveien nedpå her?
Ha en flott kveld videre.

I wish I could step through my screen and come out where those photos were taken...
It's seems so magical to me, when the only winter we have here (Israel) is just bit of rain once in a while :\
Superb!

Det er alltid så deilig å se utover Lierdalen når man har vært ute på langtur.
For da vet man at man snart er hjemme:)
Ha en strålende fin helg!

I wonder sometimes, because of your images, if Norway has the biggest and bluest skies in the world. :)
Amazing how just a tiny dot or two of red in the second image really sets it off.

Babooshka said...

As Raf said the biggest and bluest skies. Always the norwegian skies are my favourites.

Absolutely stunning photos John!! I look forward to your posts every day. My great-great-grandfather, Hans Olaf Heistad, came to America from Norway when he was a young father. I have always wanted to travel to Norway, to see the land that my ancestors came from. Your photographs allow me to peek into their world. Thank you so very much. I cannot explain enough how much it means to me.
