About the same as it would be in color, this time of year...what a beautiful capture. The sinking sun looks like a beacon shining across the ice. Just beautiful!

Ouf, dette var virkelig kaldt! Nydelig bilde, utrolig nyanser du tryller frem i svart-hvitt bildene dine, uten å brenne de ut eller få "streker" i det svarte.

This required so much patience, John. To get the rising sun interacting with the rising mist from the freezing river must have taken you ages in absolutely freezing weather. I like the shadow of the boat in the foreground and I espceially like the light peeking through the darker bridge support in the midground.

Such a good image. Bravo!
