hello dear John! do you know? looks as a thriller film...this photos had a touch of mistery and cold loneliness !!! A perfect Hitchcock style :)great photos~
Wow! What a world of white! I am glad that footprints didn't lead down to the water's edge...I'd fear that you would slip and be in that freezing cold water. I wonder what is beyond that broken window?
COOL photos. In every sense of the word! The light is stunning. I'm going to send some photography (I hardly dare use the word in your distinguished company) friends of mine your link. We've been taking photos of some snowscenes yesterday, but the whole world was in a thick fog. Very difficult for beginners like us to make something acceptable of that *sigh*. No doubt you would have come up with exciting ones like these. I'm so jealous (and grateful I have Adobe Photoshop Elements) ;-)
Awesome ! Even in the frozen heart of the winter, you are out there getting the goods... Love that broken frosted window ! And the mist on the water... or is it Smoke On the Water ?
love the first because it's almost unreal, the second for the color of the sea, the third for lines and contrasts, and the last one for the cold essentiality... :-) Fantastic series! Thanks for sharing!
Extraordinary is the word for describing your pics John. You have an expertise in balancing shadows and highlights, textures, etc. I enjoy it even more since landscape is my favorite subject. Certainly i will learn a lot and got lot of inspiration from your work. Regards and have a good night.

Hugs from Buenos Aires!

Fine bilder!! Men det siste bildet det var råbra!!!!!!! Virkelig utnyttet kuldeperioden du gitt!!!
You she is the artist of photographs, the magician! Amazing!
Knallbra bilder!
The first and last. Magic:)

Another wonderful post John, my favs are the 1st shot- which is fantastic and the mist, and 2nd your last shot, with the broken window.

Oh my goodness! In the second phot, it looks like the upright 'posts' have on some kind of white slips or dresses! They are all wonderful photos.
Fascinating images, John! And interesting that the water freezes on the pilings above the water line.
The snowy scenes are spectacular!
We did get some snow couple of weeks ago...
Lekkert!
On the other side of Baltic Sea... looks very picturesque..regards
Cold indeed but deeply beautiful; liked the contrast of the broken glass on the frozen window.
Love the windows...
oh, and the other shots, too.
Great photo art John! Once can really feel the nice, fresh and crisp air in these pics!
I know I know...wonderful cold days.
Great work John!
