Hallo, John:)

Nydelige bilder. Ruin eller ikke ruin. Helt fantastisk vakkert uansett. Tenk om de kunne ha bygd det opp igjen. Himmelen over er jo bare skjønn også. Dramatisk og vakker!

Ha en koselig Sky Watc-natt:)

Wonderful series of photos that clearly display the encroaching storm. Well done!

Aha, so now I know where the clouds come from: they are brewed in Borgholm Castle in Sweden, roll over the flat land, and then they come to us ... ;)
Phantastic photos!
Happy SWF!

Words are inadequate to tell you how much I like these...I am sure I will long remember them and I know I will come back to look at them again and again this next week.

Fantastic series of photos. The sky is incredible; that roll-type cloud is just amazing. But the fortress makes it all so much more spectacular.

What wonderful, wonderful shots, love the first two with the burning castle. The fourth, where the castle is like Atlas holding up the heavens is superb as well as the swirling clouds by themselves. So much beauty my head spinns.

Jeg kjenner igjen Borgholm - du har fanget det meget bra. Et meget spesielt sted som man kan bruke lang tid på å rusle rundt i med kamera. Og så skyene da...

Bra.

PS Skylder deg en E-post, men har vært opptatt.

Some great wide angled shots there, perfect for SWF! Thanks for sharing.

Love the heavy, ominous moods of these skies! In particular, love the old castle set in a grey drama of cloud! Very impressive!

Cath said...

Do you know...? For once I thought "Aha! These skies are ordinary! These skies (except for the castle) could be English! Ha!"

Then I scrolled on to the next one.
And the next one.
And the next...

And my jaw dropped. The formation of those clouds, the perspective with the road...

"He's done it again!"
And so you have John. Beautiful shots. Every one.

Very impressive series of shots, John. I would not want to get caught in that storm! That's a wonderful old castle. I found the Borgholms Slott website and it has a fascinating history.

It just kept getting better and better. I liked the way the clouds just rolled towards you like in a video.
