Perhaps these are the subdued left overs of winter...

Marvellous - great contrast. The snow seems punctured by spray.

The snow looks almost like an unreal cover of whipped cream... Said by someone who cannot access neither cream nor snow! :-)

Hi John,
Such a beautiful picturesque scene.

Beautifully composed. I almost feel like I could reach out and touch the snow.

The snow really looks like a very thick blanket. Lovely photo as always ;-)

Looks as if the snow was sculpted from some precious material.

Fantastic! The detail in the snow, splashes, footprints perhaps... lots of action in the sea, be it ever so mellow, for a sea, that is!

The winter doesn't come to an end. Looks very cold in Norway. Great picture.

This is lovely, the snow, sea, lighthouse..it all looks great in mono.

This is perfect for black and white treatment. The details would likely get lost in color because of all the distraction.

Marvelous job!
