Some shots from Drammen River Festival in august 2008.

Drammen River Festival takes place every year, at the end of August. The festival was created in 1995 to celebrate that extensive work to clear and clean up the river had been completed. Though the festival has changed a bit, the city’s inseparable ties to the river and fjord that remain the festival’s underlying theme.

As always, you capture beautiful skies. That bridge in some of the images is a fine design. The replacement for the cantilever portion of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge will be a similar design.

I like the close-up of the fountain very much but my favourite is the one where the ferris wheel is reflected in the building.
