Meget vellykket!

Jasså ja ja. Dratt i spakene igjen :-)

Raw-stilige bilder John. Helt rawtt :-)

Drive me to the moon .... ;-)

Amazing,

Eve said...

These are really fun photos! I never would have imagined that old deceased vehicles could be so vibrant or interesting to look at, but they really are. I love the one with the cars stacked on top of each other!

VALKYRIEN said...

The colour combinations of the old cars against the wonderful blue skies are lovely.
Sad to see people's pride and joy come to such an end.
Thanks for sharing.

I really like this car cemetery, John. I feel like I want to find one here for a fun photo shoot. ;-)

Cool collection of photos, thanks for sharing with us, who knew old cars could be so artful.

Donna(Texas) said...

Your photography is Gorgeous!! Well done!

Jane said...

Love the blue sky, what a shame they have left these cars to rust away make for an intersting and arty subject to photograph though. Have a good weekend:)

Tarolino said...

Sylvia K said...

Sad looking cars, but what happy, beautiful, blue skies! Marvelous shots, John, as always!

Arija said...

The third last shot loooks like a cow munching hay. All beautifu, the rust contrasts well with the sky.

Sandra said...

As I'm a old timer fan, I must say these are extraordinary sky photos!

Photo Cache said...

Your photos are outstanding. It's like looking at photos on a glossy travel magazine. You should do that collect all these and put out a coffee table book.

Jane Hards Photography said...

You have found beauty in the decay. I agree with Photo Cache, these could be in any magazine.

Wenche said...

Her var det i allefall nok rust:-) Flotte bilder.

Tammie Lee said...

Fantastic photos! The decaying vehicles against nature is striking.

Impossible to pick a favourite. John, but I'm leaning towards No.3 or No.4 .....

Mange flotte bilder her John :) Kul SWF.Nesten for galt at så mye flotte biler står der for intet.

---

Happy SkyWatch :)

quite a contrast, the rusty cars and clear blue sky.

Their grills are so expressive looking, they almost look human. Great, just great!
And John, it's PJ not JC. '~)

Very cool pictures! The colors and textures are great!

this is such a wonderful site for photos. I really like all the rusty colours and the way the trees have entwined with the cars. Great photos. They give each car it's own charater.

Great shots and subjects John, I had a similar shoot last year when a drained lake revealed cars like this.

Arlene said...

Great great shots, John! The color of the sky makes the brown place alive to the site.

Great series, John! Seems as if Mother Nature is patiently waiting as she pulls these old rust buckets back into the fold. Striking contrasts of brown rusty metals and bright bold blue.

Dagrun said...

Fantastisk serie! Favorittbilde (så langt?) er nummer to her!

Elisabeth's bright side said...

Alle de andre naturligvis, men fliret kom virkelig fram her! Flott serie!

Next John once this beautiful old cemetery of old cars. I fell in love in them. I will have alone to seek such neighbourhood.

nice weekends

There is an awesome beauty in these shots that makes me want to paint again. At the same time my mind aches at the waste and the blight on the landscape. This takes nothing from the work, which is brilliant.

Naturegirl said...

I would agree that this is an oringinal entry! Good one!

The Explorer said...

It seems you have unique theme here in your photos...but it is nice looking at them

Fabulously clear pictures. Fascinating, I wonder how long they will stay there.

Cars returning to the earth - it reminds me of the book 'The World Without Us', about the slow takeover of nature if all people on Earth disappeared at once.

Mojo said...

Seeing all these classics left to rust like this makes me sad. But they make great photographs.
