  6. Wow! What a world of white! I am glad that footprints didn't lead down to the water's edge...I'd fear that you would slip and be in that freezing cold water. I wonder what is beyond that broken window?

  8. COOL photos. In every sense of the word!
The light is stunning. I'm going to send some photography (I hardly dare use the word in your distinguished company) friends of mine your link. We've been taking photos of some snowscenes yesterday, but the whole world was in a thick fog. Very difficult for beginners like us to make something acceptable of that *sigh*. No doubt you would have come up with exciting ones like these. I'm so jealous (and grateful I have Adobe Photoshop Elements) ;-)

  22. love the first because it's almost unreal, the second for the color of the sea, the third for lines and contrasts, and the last one for the cold essentiality...
    :-)
    Fantastic series!
    Thanks for sharing!

  23. Extraordinary is the word for describing your pics John. You have an expertise in balancing shadows and highlights, textures, etc. I enjoy it even more since landscape is my favorite subject. Certainly i will learn a lot and got lot of inspiration from your work.
Regards and have a good night.

  24. Oh my goodness! In the second phot, it looks like the upright 'posts' have on some kind of white slips or dresses! They are all wonderful photos.
