These are really fun photos! I never would have imagined that old deceased vehicles could be so vibrant or interesting to look at, but they really are. I love the one with the cars stacked on top of each other!
The colour combinations of the old cars against the wonderful blue skies are lovely. Sad to see people's pride and joy come to such an end. Thanks for sharing.
Love the blue sky, what a shame they have left these cars to rust away make for an intersting and arty subject to photograph though. Have a good weekend:)
whutta great old rusty cars, never mind the sky. i just love these, they make such lovely photos. with the right photographer, which was there. obviously. happy SWF!
Your photos are outstanding. It's like looking at photos on a glossy travel magazine. You should do that collect all these and put out a coffee table book.
this is such a wonderful site for photos. I really like all the rusty colours and the way the trees have entwined with the cars. Great photos. They give each car it's own charater.
Great series, John! Seems as if Mother Nature is patiently waiting as she pulls these old rust buckets back into the fold. Striking contrasts of brown rusty metals and bright bold blue.
Alle de andre naturligvis, men fliret kom virkelig fram her! Flott serie!
There is an awesome beauty in these shots that makes me want to paint again. At the same time my mind aches at the waste and the blight on the landscape. This takes nothing from the work, which is brilliant.
I still have so big problems opening and scrolling your blog that I seldom visit you for the time being, but of course I want to congratulate with post of the day triumph. Have a nice weekend
Cars returning to the earth - it reminds me of the book 'The World Without Us', about the slow takeover of nature if all people on Earth disappeared at once.
Meget vellykket!
ReplyDeleteJasså ja ja. Dratt i spakene igjen :-)
ReplyDeleteRaw-stilige bilder John. Helt rawtt :-)
Drive me to the moon .... ;-)
ReplyDeleteAmazing,

ReplyDeleteSeeing all these classics left to rust like this makes me sad. But they make great photographs.
