Very interesting capture, B/W makes it a bit spooky looking but its very eye catching as well. I like this photo of yours a lot John, but I like all your work, very inspiring.
Apart from the materials used in the construction, this photo could have been taken in our area! There's so much to see here. I like the reflection of the tree in the water, the angle made by the small boat left by the falling tide, and the shapes of the rocks.
beautiful buildings and photo - nothing better

ReplyDeleteThat is very surreal in B/W!
ReplyDeleteLovely
The ice is melting but it still looks cold.
ReplyDeleteFine image.
The water looks very cold and dark,
ReplyDeletea lot of texture.
lovely.....
Her har du tatt oss mange generasjoner tilbake i Nevlunghavn John. Veldig flott bilde!
ReplyDeleteTakk det samme til dere :) Å nei du, her går ingen bobler ut av huset uansett formål, hehe.
ReplyDeleteFlott bilde.
ReplyDeleteDet ser fredfullt og stille ut der.
Navnet forbinder jeg med Reiseradioen.... ;)
Interesting photo with all the different textures.
ReplyDeleteIt does have a otherwordly feel, like a ghostown. Always great photography.
ReplyDeletePhenomenal, but it would be. You get such marvelous contrast in your color images, I'd expect nothing less in your monochromes.
ReplyDeleteFabulous work as always!
An air of mystery. Vignetting worked for this photo. I like it!
ReplyDeleteIt's very interesting capture.
ReplyDeleteGreay shot! I like it.
always great photography! Like how you do your shots!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so effortlessly like something that you found from the attic. This is where grandpa used to live...
ReplyDeleteInteresting buildings, like from another time.

ReplyDeleteWonderful depth and texture, and that old boat just makes the shot.
ReplyDeletebeautifully composed as usual!! another wonderful classic!
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot going on in this picture. Makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. Don't know why.
ReplyDelete(I really prefer the picture below this one. Beautiful!!!)
Oh this is just super ... it cries out for a story!
ReplyDeleteFantastic.
ReplyDeleteNicely frammed and a good reflection on the water too.
As always..beautiful B&W photo.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the curve of the walkway draws my eyes into the photo. Your photo makes what I suspect was a drab day look inviting.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully composed picture.
ReplyDeleteVery good black and white congratulations John!
ReplyDeleteEspecially like these shots in Nevlunghavn, John, but all in this latest series are splendid!
