I love both of these, but for different reasons. In the first, the light clouds add a lot of interest in an already dramatic blue sky. In the second, the touches of vivid red on the ground do the same thing.
So I guess the reasons aren't so different after all, eh? No matter, they're both beautiful!
I wish I could step through my screen and come out where those photos were taken... It's seems so magical to me, when the only winter we have here (Israel) is just bit of rain once in a while :\ Superb!
I wonder sometimes, because of your images, if Norway has the biggest and bluest skies in the world. :) Amazing how just a tiny dot or two of red in the second image really sets it off.
Each time I visit with you John, I'm just mesmerized by your images. You love in a beautiful place. I can't believe that I'm seeing palm trees in the snow!
Absolutely stunning photos John!! I look forward to your posts every day. My great-great-grandfather, Hans Olaf Heistad, came to America from Norway when he was a young father. I have always wanted to travel to Norway, to see the land that my ancestors came from. Your photographs allow me to peek into their world. Thank you so very much. I cannot explain enough how much it means to me.
