It is well known that we Portuguese once sailed the seven seas searching for new lands, wealth and adventures. We were brave in those days and gave the world new worlds!
Luckily I don’t have to sail the big oceans on a small ship to sea the wonders of our world … No Sir, I just need to check with Mr. Tom, the finest host there is, for a trip around the world with SKY WATCH TOURS and with a click here, a click there I am quickly in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy, China, Australia, Finland … well, everywhere.
And on each stop I come to see a little marvel of our world under a great sky! Hope you can come and see my piece of the sky at lenses & visions
John these images are yet again, brilliant. I had to show my husband. I said to him, "Ordinary skies, but the perspective this guy uses..." and then I realised that is what it is about your photography that I love. Your perspective. The depth. It is just so clever and so good.
I've joined Sky Watch today - I'd love it if you came over to see.
John, I LOVE the intense colors in the 1st one! Then I love the swirling clouds. They appear to be moving. Great job as always. Congrats on the award. You deserve it.
WOW! These are amazing. I loved the first, then started looking at them all, thinking, "Fantastic!" Hard to pick a favorite. It looks like there is wind whipping inside many of those clouds. I especially like the one of the building with the reflection.
John, your blog is beautiful. How do you get the photographs to appear so large? I would love to be able to do this. Are you using the minima template?
Your skywatch pictures were a pleasure to see. So glad I stopped by!
These are beautiful skies. Something about the color/texture reminds me of antique post cards... they have a unique quality to them that I can't quite explain.. They are lovely.
